Lovely appearing example, especially with the additional stamp affixed. According the footnote in Scott, it takes the catalog value from $60 to $600.

In my experience, you can find some great deals and/or unusual material coming out of Europe, as the sellers tend not to be specialized in U.S. revenues (in the same way that U.S. sellers wouldn't necessarily understand all the nuances and specializations regarding UK, German, French, etc. material).

I routinely give U.S. revenue lots coming from international sellers a bit closer scrutiny.

As one who collects among other thing US, CAN and world wide revenues you learn to look at the lots you know most about, but the auctions worldwide don't really know a lot about because it is not a local country or area issue. I'm a world wide collector and look for reference books on sale or for a lot less of the new price. This also means newsletters because they talk about revenues also

I routinely give U.S. revenue lots coming from international sellers a bit closer scrutiny.
