Wouldn't this cancel have been great if it had been for Bond Street? And had J B in the corner letters? (instead, we have H T corner letters from Brough, Yorkshire).
I like this cancel on a folded-over stamp. Something freaky about it.
One of the most striking "ivory head" images I've seen.
Lastly, here's one for my buddy Doug, who loves 13s. Doug, are you lurking?

Don't know if you noticed, but your "007" canceled stamp is showing a partial plate number of "7". I can't tell what the other number is due to the cancel.
With all those penny reds, are you considering trying to plate them? With that many of them, it would be an interesting chance to try it.

My uncle bought many kiloware lots over the years, and at times, had me use my eBay ID to make purchases, where I would send him what he wanted and have the rest to myself for whatever (keep, sell, donate).
I personally don't have the time or patience or desire to attempt full plate sets; I'm much more interested in cancels. He had made several attempts at plating the reds. There is a 32 page Lighthouse stock book for corner letter types by plate number, from 74 (I believe) through 117, and then six in the 200s. Then there are the sets of just plate numbers by cancel type; these are in another small stockbook. Add to that packets of un-plated loose stamps and most significantly, strips, blocks, and on-cover pieces. I never thought I'd enjoy penny reds as much!

Thanks for asking Anglophile. I don't have any full plated sets; the closest is, I believe, has all but five stamps (I have to re-check but it's about that many missing). Other plate sets only have a handful.

As I go through my uncle's collections, I am finding many interesting items (at least to me!). Among the thousands of penny reds, were these.
