It appears to be Elizabeth Castle.

Thank you, Roy. That does indeed seem to be the correct ID.

That is a beautiful sheet (and beautiful scenery)-why can't the USA issue a sheet like that?? BOB in ORLANDO
Perhaps there is some useful information here that you don't already have:

A most handsome issue indeed. Motivates to cosider a topical collection.
It is a nice souvenir sheet! Which of course is why I bought it in the first place, although it nicely illustrates one aspect of the Channel Islands occupation.
Thanks to Jillcrow for the useful link to S.S. Vega information.

I need information about the castle shown in this 2013 souvenir sheet, which commemorates the voyages of the International Red Cross ship, S.S. Vega, which carried relief supplies to the Channel Islands during the Second World War and immediately after the liberation. None of my catalogues are new enough to help.
There are several fortresses in the Channel Islands, but I assume that the one shown is in Jersey, assuming an actual structure is shown rather than a generic structure. I can find no images in a google search that absolutely look like the one in this souvenir sheet.
