I have a goodly number of postal cards, aero-letters, newspaper wrappers, etc. that I have been keeping in file folders. Well now I want to get all that stuff into a more respectable display. Should I use Scott mounts, or what? I should mention that this is all British Empire stuff and I am not aware of any albums that are designed for this.

How do you mount or otherwise display this type of material? I am really at a bit of a loss and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

re: Postal Stationary

A lot depends on their size and whether or not they have been folded. There are special albums made for folded covers in most sizes. I've always picked up used ones at shows so am not sure which are the better ones. They are usually clear pages with black dividers and I generally replace the dividers with ones cut from heavy duty 8 1/2 x 11 colored paper.

If they are large (unfolded) I usually just use sheet protectors and colored 8 1/2 x 11 heavy paper.

This is the type page I'm going to be using for odd size covers. These come in different arrangements. The two 5x7 pocket ones are the ones I'm using. They also have pages with 4 postcards, and sheets with just one 8x10 pocket. They are pretty cheap too. Check eBay.
