Hi Randy. I looked at the drop down options function and believe adding UN to it would not have the desired effect. The drop down topics listed appear to be just a listing of the other categories so it can help a person find something listed in both the US & topical category, for example. Using a keyword search for 'UN' does not help much either, as various sellers have terms such as funds, fauna, unmounted, etc within their descriptions and these appear when you do that.
I believe the easiest thing to do might be to break out the UN from the US category and create its own listing category. New items can then be listed in the proper category for easy viewing.
A member/dealer from Canada has mentioned to me that he has noticed a renewed interest in UN issues. He feels this might be related to older collectors becoming active again in their latter years and their return to areas that they collected when they were younger.

Mike,
I don't 'aggressively' look for UN, but I do try to build on what I have at times.
You may be right; it might be a good idea to make it a separate category, according to what you've told me.
Maybe others will weigh in with their opinions as well.

Hi Everyone;
I just did a search of auctions using; "United Nations". That seemed to work, except that a few came
up that were not UN but were stamps of other nations that were commemorating the UN, and United
Nations was in the title, plus the issuing nations name as well.
I try to always use United States instead of US, and also United Nations instead of UN, if at all possible.
Just chillin'....

This is for Tim as well as general discussion/consensus;
Would it be possible to add "U.N." to the list of filtering choices for using under the heading "US (including U.N.)" in the auctions?
I quite often search for UN in the US listings, but it takes a L-O-N-G time to sort through to find them.
It would be nice to have that filter option available in the drop-down list with the countries!
...is this a possibility?
