I've seen these advertised - always wondered about picture quality/clarity......

Hi Suzanne;
Show us a photo of a stamp, so we can see what it looks like....

Yes I will sometime on Thursday. It's Shelley's phone, and I haven't a clue how to use it. I just have a 5 year old flip phone that I use about 10 minutes a month.
Suzanne, just like me with the old flip phone and usage. I used to have 500 minutes a month and used less than 100. Now I have unlimited minutes, and still use less than 100 minutes a month. I guess they didn't see much of a business risk upgrading my service for free.
I love my Galaxy smartphone. I'd be lost without it.
Here are some pictures of the actual phone scope in use. There are two stamps, one under the scope and the same type beside it. Just so you can compare.
I hope this helps.
Hey Doodles. That looks very handy. I'm wondering if you couldn't also video the magnification and then text or email it to someone? Very cool indeed.

WOW
I was reading other posts and saw one talking about magnifiers, and the damage they can do to your eyes, so instead of adding to the other discussion thread, I thought I'd do a new one.
My daughter Shelley and I have several different magnifiers, including a digital microscope, but Shelley I think has the best one. It's a phonescope. You have to have a smart phone for it though.
It just clips on to the top of your phone where the viewfinder is for the camera. Then it rests on a little stand that sits over the stamp. They are about 60x magnification, and cost between $25.00 and $30.00. Just thought it might be of interest.
