Very nice. I like how you used the two main colors from the Communist crest to create the border. Also like the font.
Very nice!
The crests are very eye catching, perhaps highlight them more?
Good Start - a nice period map & some details on a next page would go well
The text would read better as
People's Republic of Bulgaria (apostrophe after e & capital on R of REPUBLIC
)
I haven't got the slightest clue how the apostrophe disappeared, but I think I typed it before exporting the file. Anyway, thank you for the idea! I tweaked it a bit. Here's the result:

/The Bulgarian version/ If you wonder why I've made the pages "bilingual", so to speak, it is because the main body of pages is in English and I didn't really want to translate it, because it's a good opportunity for me to refine my foreign language abilities. Also, translating the titles of the different sets may interfere with the layout, because some words are longer in Bulgarian than in English.
Much better in my opinion
Edited: BTW what is the name of your font?
"BTW what is the name of your font?"
It's beautiful, Georgi--very eye catching and attractive. Keep it up!

Great job!
That is just lovely.
I like the larger crests but a very smart looking page either way.
Thank you, everyone!
It is a very attractive page.
It is a very minor note, but because I am who I am I will note that while in most languages, the first letter of the word "republic" is not capitalized. In the English language, it is.
Of course the final design is your own choice and as I said, you have chosen well.
Cheers,
Antonio
Hi Georgi;
The second image with the larger crests, has much better balance of white space.
The border is nice for the title page, but would be a bit much for stamp mounting pages.
I also like the idea of a map, and a vintage map would really look nifty.
Something about the history of that nation would be great, I also like collecting Bulgaria.
The font I don't much care for, especially the numbers tho.
I have seen many homemade pages on here and none looked nearly as good and so professionally
designed.
I'm glad you joined us to add to our group of very talented collectors. Keep up the great work!

Hello!
As some of you may remember, I'm printing myself an album for the People's republic of Bulgaria a.k.a. Communist Bulgaria. It's almost complete, so yesterday I decided that I need some decent title pages. Well, I've finished them just now. I say THEM because one is in English and one in Bulgarian.
Here's the English version:
On top of the page, I've put the current Bulgarian coat of arms to symbolize that this is a modern-time collection whose purpose is to study the Eastern bloc part of my country's history, but not cherish it. As much as I like the stamps of that period, it was a reign of an oppressive regime, and I'm glad I was born after its demise. The communist-era crest is on both sides of the title.
What do you think about it? I'll be glad to hear any advice or opinion you might have.
I thought of adding a map and a country profile, but this may be on another page because it'll get too crowded here.
