Morning from the UK

I recently joined having been told of about the site and thought after lurking for a little while I would introduce myself and say hello.

I hope to be able to make full use of the auctions and approval section, both as a buyer and a seller and if I can help a few of the other members fill some gaps and extend their collections that will be fantastic.

Would like some advice from the other sellers here if possible

I have a lot of different precancels and hundreds of thousands of non precancels mainly in packets of 25 50 or 100 some by country and some by theme , topic for the thematic collectors amongst us.

I also have a number of accessories for sale from approval cards to stock books and current catalogues etc.

As I want a fixed amount per stamp / item is it best to use the approvals section or a mix of that and the auction.

Many thanks and look forward to making some new friends on here.

Phil

Welcome, Philip.

The approval books are ideal for "fix priced" items. There are some limiting rules, but they are few, simple, and easy to adhere to (to review them CLICK HERE).

I would recommend the auction only if you are satisfied with your item selling for its minimum bid (which should be a maximimum of 20% of catalog value or it probably will not sell). The upside is there are no fees! None! No listing fees, no buyers fees. However, do not fall into bad habits; for example, many Sellers illegally charge a fee for PayPal transactions - if PayPal finds out they may (and often do) close your account.
