Hi,
I'm relatively new to StampoRama. Have been collecting since I was 11 years old and my mother gave me the stamp album she used in her teen years to get me started.

I've been off/on again with the hobby, but lately I've been bit by the bug pretty hard. My collecting interests vary from Worldwide used to Israel MNH Tabs to Topicals like Musicians/Composers/Writers on stamps and Judaica/Holocaust period. I also like overprints and surcharges.

I have more stamps than I know what to do with, so I am going through a very gradual and S L O W ... process of sorting through them, keeping some for my personal collection and selling off the dupes that I think others might enjoy having.

I have been to a few stamp shows over the years and would like to try my hand at a thematic exhibit some time. Just gotta find the time!

Always looking to learn more about the hobby and voraciously read my copies of Linn's Monthly, The American Philatelist and Topical Time. Still have quite a few issues of the AAPE periodical to read through as well!

Welcome.

If you want to try exhibiting, contact SOR member John Macco. He has exhibited many times, and is an award winner. He might be willing to give you some tid bits.

He has also posted about his exhibits in the Philatelic Exhibitions topic. You may want to check those posts out.
