Hello would like to say thank you to those who messaged me and a big thank you to Bobby who sent me free stamps! Top guy!
I started collecting when I was 7 and gave up in my early teens and reignited my collection about 2 years ago at 36.
I have to say I'm a true Philatalist and all I think about is stamps. I'm always looking forward to my next time off work to sit and sort and admire . I mostly collect GB 1840- present with a touch of Commonwealth here and there. So much to learn its mind boggling I still see myself as a beginner. I'll have lots of questions to ask and also i'd like to answer some too . I'm overwhelmed with stamps I have enough to sort through for the next 800 years!
My collection is huge I discovered a great shop that sells TOP unsorted Kiloware and that keeps me very busy sorting and soaking and so forth. I also have a sharp eye or at least i'd like to think I have for pre Elizabeth era ( hard work) I have no intention in selling my stamps for the forseeable future but am interested in swapping which I haven't done yet!
I have many many duplicates and even those ill find hard to release from my albums!
Let me know a bit about you and what you collect.
By the way I'm a born bred Londoner with Greek Cypriot background. ( yea I collect Cyprus stamps too especially 1d red overprints )
Thanks
John (yianni)

Welcome! Great collecting areas! I know some members here will have a lot in common (Nigel C comes to mind).

Cheers,
