For those of you who have been wondering how the Stamporama Auction bid increment calculation works, the following table sets out the Auction Lot Value Ranges and the Bid Increment applied by the bidding program.

From To Increment
.01 .99 .05
1.00 3.99 .10
4.00 9.99 .25
10.00 19.99 .50
20.00 49.99 1.00
50.00 99.99 2.50
100.00 249.99 5.00
250.00 499.99 10.00
500.00 2499.99 25.00
2500.00 4999.99 50.00
5000.00 99999.99 100.00

In recent memory I can NOT remember any bids over $99.99, but of course, could be wrong. I did bid, a couple of years ago, $87 on a Russia #1, (what a beauty that was), but was forced to sell it for over $300 to feed my addiction for more stamps that I needed for my own collection. LOL
