I use different devices in different locations and don't have this problem
Are you typing in the password each time you log in? or are you relying on the password as saved by the browser you are using?
If the latter, that's the problem. Each time you change your password, the browser has an old, wrong password saved. Of course, it is showing you nothing but "*******", so you can't tell for sure. If you type in a new password, and it is different from the older one saved in the browser, the browser should prompt you to "Replace saved password?".
Your password is saved by the Stamporama server (in non-human readable encrypted form), and the login process compares what is saved with what you are sending via your browser. If there is any issue, it is because what is being sent doesn't match, and that is the browser's fault (or what you are typing into the password box). Once you have saved a password by changing it on Stamporama, if you now type that password into your browser during login, your problems will stop.
Also remember that passwords are case sensitive. i.e. "ThisIsMyPassword" is different from "thisismypassword".

Thank you for your response. The browser saved password may be the issue, however, I changed the password on my PC because of the hacking incident and used that same password (typing in manually) on my laptop, all was fine. But when I returned to use my PC it would not accept the same browser saved password, so I changed it again. The 'problem' then repeated itself on the laptop.
There is a possibility that the browser 'password saving function' may not have activated when I had assumed it had. I have had this issue on another site recently, which I actually noticed.
I shall log what I do in future, so that I can be sure what is (or isn't) happening.
Ningpo,
This also happens to me on my laptop. I am almost positive it is an issue with my software or operating system, and not Stamporama. It also affects my bank pw and my email pw, both of which have upgraded their sites recently.

Thanks Bobby for your comment. Thinking about this further, the same issue occurred on another stamp forum, under the same circumstances. Yesterday however, after switching back from my laptop to my PC I didn't encounter any problem when I signed in (using the browser saved password) onto that site.
This may be a glitch with the browser password saving feature; in that it is not always detecting a change.
I doubt it makes any difference but my laptop is used in a different location using a dongle, which at the best of times gives erratic internet access.
With that it could be that the password saving routine is IP specific. Tim could better answer about that.
Each time I change from my PC to my laptop, which I use in different locations, my password is deemed 'invalid'. I then have to change my password.
Why do I have to do this? I have enough passwords to cope with already!
Can someone throw any light on this?
