...less and less good material come on market!
Why?
Really don't know, but, probability that "Collectors who know what Philately is" purchased all, and now keep silent, in warm home, waiting for Christmas!?

Recently, discovered that, someone, made reprint of this valuable items from Croatia - NDH (WWII period)!

Terrible, because it is something as "Holly Cow", something that have no place for reprints!

See prices for reprint range up to 50.00 euros, God - someone are ready to pay it for reprint?

No way, and if Collectors are informed, no one will ever think to put reprint in any serious collection!

re: Croatia - NDH:

There are many stamps that have been officially reprinted by the respective government/postal system. USA Scott #3 and #4 would make a great addition of a reprint to a collection.

I would say that if the Croatian sheet was not an authorized reprint, then it is an unofficial copy and then would be termed a "forgery".

Milco, Great sheet! I do not have one but was very happy to pick up the set of singles (below) a couple years ago. As with most all valuable stamps, there have been forgeries made of them. I believe that there were early forgeries of these and I have no doubt that there have also been recent forgeries made with the help of modern printers.
These are by far the most valuable of Croatian stamps but unfortunately the world is full of crooks and these are easy targets. I rather doubt that I will ever be able to get the sheet but there is a sheet up for auction this week where I buy my stamps. It does not have a reserve and hopefully if no one has much interest in it, there's a slim possibility I could get it.
Note: the single issued stamps vary from those of the sheet. The sheet stamps have an imprint bottom right where the single stamps do not.

re: Croatia - NDH:

I was outbid on the sheet I bid on last weekend, it went for around $150.00. To my surprise I found another sheet at a different auction site which ended last night.
It did not have a reserve and it appears no one who looked at it knew what it was r cared.
I placed a weak $75.00 bid on it in the last few minutes and won it for $34.00!!! The lot said it had some paper bits stuck to it but it doesn't appear they were touching the stamps.
I think it qualifies as a great deal as the stamps themselves cat for $400.00 each and the sheet for $1,400, less than 2.5% of cat. Can't help thinking that me saying I would probably never get one in the previous post had something to do with it. In the past I have stated many times on chat boards that I would probably never get a certain stamp, in all honesty, only to pick one up within the next couple weeks. That's the kind of stuff that really keeps me going.
