I started collecting by accident. I was sitting around one day and thought I really had no legacy to leave to my grandchildren. I wanted something educational for them and a friend suggested stamps.
I decided to set up an album for all stamps issued in the years they were born. That way each would get a special album.
I've since added the years of both of my children because of a good deal I got on some of the stamps in those years.
I may branch out later and add the Virginia collection but have to focus on these first.
Trying to focus on "Mint NH" stamps so hopefully I can afford to continue if I don't retire too soon.

Welcome Mikey, nice idea for the collection, lots of friendly folks here with a wealth of knowledge willingly shared.
Trust there's not a blue ridge round your heart.

Haven't figured out how to "Quote" yet, but Thanks Vic. I happen to live right at the base of the Blue Ridge, about 7 miles from the top.

Hello all. I live in Ruckersville Virginia, so far back in the hills, we have to bring in a truckload of sunshine once a week to help the plants grow. Ruckersville is not much more than a stoplight along Rt. 29 north of Charlottesville (Go UVA).
