I was trying to list some Berlin booklets. I was told I have listed them 2 times before. I never have. But even if I did new members would not have seen them. I really don't understand this new rule. Frank

Frank,
Don't worry about it, I don't know why you got that notice and maybe you should contact David about it. Go ahead a try again first, to see what happens. You shouldn't see that message unless you have listed an item 5 times previously.

When in doubt we should check the rule book.

10b) Relist lots automatically through the Unsold/Relist function. Lots can be relisted up to a maximum of 4 times.

List once, relist 4 times. But you could list it 100 times if you make it a new lot, which would be silly anyway.

This rule was changed by the VC in late November and went into effect on December 12, 2015 (CLICK HERE to read the announcement to the members regarding this change).

An item may be listed 3 times: the original listing plus 2 additional listings.

re: Relisting Items

i do see the confusion, with our automated relisting software showing the OLD explanation. My bad for not updating the definition associated with that software. But it's the definition, not the functionality, that is out of date.

the new rule limits listings to a TOTAL of 3

We'll look into it Greg. Were these 5 lots similar to lots you have listed in the past (e.g., same description and/or similar image)?

This is a glitch in the program. With any new program there are invariably bumps in the road and, unfortunately, you appear to be encountering more than your share. Send a private message to auldstampguy (our webmaster). I am sure he can address the problem.

re: Relisting Items

It's due to the name of the IMAGE not the item. I always save my images within my folders as 01,02,03 etc. Last week I changed it to 0101,0201,0301 etc and this week will be 0102, 0202 etc.
