Thankyou I had not seen that article (Olympic Idea transcending war) I have found a few samples of the barbed wire stamps (only one within my pocket book scope)Apparently there had been a set of stamps from Finland issued for 1940 but very rare....If you should see these listed please message me I can dream,,,,,,,,,,
While working on my olympic stamp collection I have encountered the Barbed Wire Stamps issued by the Polish officers..I believe that the Nazies held an unofficial POW Olympics as the 1940 and 1944 olympics were cancelled due to WWII...Can anyone add to this information for me.? Thanks Cheryl
