Yes.
Yes, when you are out bid on a lot you are notified immediately by email.

THANKS..That's what I thought I just wasn't sure
I was not notified....so if I had not checked my open bids I would have not known thay I was outbid....
Sometimes, email providers have been known to consider emails coming from sites that put out many emails as spam. Make sure that if emails from Stamporama suddenly stop coming to you that you check your spam filter, or your automatically blocked messages in your email profile (it differs from one provider to another, so you'll have to check this on your own). Also you can put Stamporama messages in your exceptions so that they will come to you and hopefully not get blocked again by your email provider.
When an email provider considers emails as spam, they block the domain and the message bounces back to the SOR site. When that happens, Stamporama stops sending emails to that recipient. One way to help keep this clear is to go to the Stamporama Email Problems page:
http://stamporama.com/mdata/display_members_invalid_email.php?id=Y
You can look down the very long list of user names and see if your name is on there, or you can simply just click on the CLEAR MY EMAIL FILTER button. A couple of weeks ago, my emails from this site suddenly stopped. I went to the page and clicked on the button. The emails resumed, but the next day stopped again. I clicked on the button again and the emails have been coming without any problem since. If they stop again, I'll just return to this page and click once more on the button.
One other thing is if you have changed your email address, you need to update your profile. If you don't, you won't get any emails from the site.
