Just wanted to post a quick note to say hello, I have been away from the hobby for a while.
I have re-invigorated my love of all things stamps and the logical place to return was of course Stamporama.
I hope all are well and a belated hello again!

re: Bin away, but glad to be back

Welcome back, garner72. I, too, recently endured a bout of a weird philatelic funk, where I literally woke up one morning and had lost all interest in stamps. It lasted about two years. But, then, just as suddenly, the passion returned, and, like you, I came back to Stamporama. It's just what the doctor ordered. Thumbs Up

Cheers,

Ted

I thought it was just me! Thanks for posting this. Unfortunately, lately I've been back in the funk. Something about my last birthday took the winds out of my sails with respect to my collections. I barely look at them now.

re: Bin away, but glad to be back

I've been in a funk with my model railroad. Grandkids will be here Friday night. I'm sure they'll want to see the trains. That usually brings me out of it. Of course that means I won't be working on my stamps. What a world, what a world!!

I too had been away for a short time due to illness etc. But I really missed it at times, but at other times you could not of paid me to look at a stamp or collection. Funny is does seem to flare up and die down from time to time

Welcome, garner! Glad to see you back in the hobby.

Yes, it comes and goes, but that is OK. Sometimes, we need a break, and come back stronger then before.
