Is there a way to post a file like a .doc file so others can look at it? I am building a list that I would like some input on.

No, there isn't. You would have to upload it it somewhere like Google Drive and provide a link to it.

However, nobody who understands current computer security issues would open a *.doc file because of the malicious code that can be embedded in it.

Best convert it to a PDF file.
