I guess he is just down the road from you (low road or high road?)but have not even had any reply email, even to say sorry out of stock at present.
Maybe he thinks I want an immigration sponsor.
Sad that it should be that way with business today. Just seems to me that they do not go the extra yard anymore.
Maybe they forget that good service and customer satisfaction goes around the world in seconds now. With forums like ours where we are all looking for that extra place to get a good deal and willing to share such.
Point in question, in another thread today mention was made of a USB microscope, I went to Amazon and ordered one but they do not deliver outside UK. DOH! Now I have to search for that model on ebay or some North American version of Amazon.
On a lighter note, one of my oldest friends came from Glenalmond, which again fairly close to you.
Now I'd better let you get to bed before you catch Spon plague or a sight of Nude Ned the Piano Dancer.
Now to find those sennapod smugglers, sure they are hiding in my Brazil pages somewhere.
Try Amazon Canada

I fear the problem is that you've emailed them, and your emails (or their response) have been auto-deleted for reason or another. It happens a lot more than most people would think of (about 99% of email traffic is spam and most of it 'killed off' way before it reaches anybody's inbox). And sadly there is very little none of mortals can do besides avoiding AOL etc. big email providers that are heavily into blocking/deleting emails without notification to receiver (whereas for example Google's gmail just moves them straight into junk or spam, and keeps them there for 30 days for manual review).
Use the 'contact us' form found on their website or phone them, and you're guaranteed to get a response.

Wasn't there a similar discussion about one of these businesses about a year ago?
I much prefer face to face. This way, I can read the transaction directly. Phones are OK. However, some people are prepared to say some things over the phone that they wouldn't dare say face to face.
If I really want someone's attention, I send a fax.
I read nothing into an eMail going without response.
Cheers,

Has anyone had any dealings with these two businesses.
I ordered a couple of Kiloware bags from PostLynx on Feb 8th, and got an order confirmation the same day, but postal costs to be determined. Logging in to the website shows position unchanged. Despite reminder emails to them.
The other firm Robert Murray stamp shop in Edinburgh, Scotland, I emailed with a request for Kiloware on the 16th. Feb. but have not received a reply of any kind.
I appreciate that I’m not spending a fortune but they are not to know if I’m dipping a foot in the water.
On the basis of current position I doubt if I will do business with either again.
