Can any of our British experts tell from this scan if this is Scott# 239 or 262? Image Not Found

I would say that is Scott 262 as the background is lighter than for 239 (see below from a recent item listed on eBay).

The paler colours of these stamps were issued during World War 2. The reason usually given is that this was to economise on printers ink.
