There I am around 1971 at age 12 or 13. Of course sitting at my model work bench. Funny thing is that I still have all the items at the back of the table!
Ok here's one of me aged about 10 going 11 and yes I got away without being scalped. 59 years ago.
ca. 1958
Great thread Theresa.
Hey Sheepshanks, Nice hair. Me too! Hey, it was the 80's, what can I say? This picture is especially apropos because tomorrow I will be celebrating 24 years of marriage with this foxy lady.
-Ernie
Ernie, Love the hair, definitely 80's style, and from your avatar you still have it all, and there was me thinking it was a pic of some great chief.
vic
I would post one of mine but I can't get it chiseled off the cave wall.
WB
WB, you look taller in real life.
OK Here's me circa 1988 as a "Sparkette" with my clunky safety glasses, tool pouch and oh so stylish coveralls troubleshooting a Lincoln welding control panel. I still have that tool pouch and most of those tools, too.
Ted, do you really think so? This is me when I was 19. I always thought I looked a little short for my age.
WB
Theresa, what's that number over your pocket? I didn't know they worked on Lincoln welders up at sing sing.
WB
Hi everyone;
I don't have any pics that I can scan, (my sister has them all). This was taken at a studio for
business card mugshots for professionals, in 1994 or so. I was about 50ish.
I'll try to find some older ones after I unpack all this junk (I just moved into this apartment).
Just stayin' warm....

"Theresa, what's that number over your pocket? I didn't know they worked on Lincoln welders up at sing sing.Big Grin"
Oh how well I know, Theresa! I spent the first 12+ years out of high school as a welder/assembler. I still like to strike an arc when the need arises.
WB
High School Junior......I think.
Great picture Sean. That's one cool California kid!
Wow, Sean! Why didn't you go to my school?!?!?! What a great picture!
Brilliant thread, Theresa.
TPFKAMI (The Person Formerly Known As Mrs ikeyPikey) liked to threaten to show this one to the kids if I ever gave them a hard time about any of their choices.
c1972, only forty years ahead of my time on the hat.
Well as long as we are messing in the 70's ... me at Port Everglades on a ship tour. If I remember correctly a nuclear sub and destroyer were open for tours, ironic, huh?
I'll play. High School ID. Undergrad ID. Graduate School ID. The skiing photo was between Undergrad and Graduate school.

Wranglin the Wild West....side of Chicago
This one of me is a tad earlier than my teens, but I just had to share it.
Tim.
Awesome picture, Tim! You were cute as a bugs ear!
So, who's the kid?
WB
Gosh what a handsome bunch of fellas! Keep 'em coming!
Where's all the wimmen folk? Are Theresa and Luree going to have to double up and triple up on their picture postings to compensate?
Taken from a team photograph of the Blundell's School, Tiverton, cricket 2nd XI. I was 17, and did not do smiling in those days (nor polished shoes, by the looks of it).
1979 - I just got my Ibanez Iceman (what Paul Stanley from KISS played). Don't mind the fingerprints. It has many dings now.
This a photo of me on the right when I was about 6 or 7 (not sure). The picture on the left is one of my Grandsons. This is the only picture of I can find of my self.
Okay, I wasn't really a teenage buffalo or a 19 year old "little person". This is me in my early 20's.
WB
You guys are all so handsome!
Where were you when I was growing up?
That's why I won't post my picture. All you ladies will forget about all the other guys. I also don't want to give the guys an inferiority complex!
Come on Michael, give it up ... post a pic! Make us go all a twitter
I won't look Michael, I promise!
WB
I don't know where that geeky stereotype for stamp collectors comes from! All of you would have sat at the "cool table" in my school!
You want geek? Here's geek — me in U.S. Navy boot camp, 1962:
Then the U.S. Marines got hold of me — photo taken in Okinawa prior to my battalion's departure for South Vietnam.
Just one question, Bob.
In that bottom photo - the "Thinker" photo - what were you thinking?
"Why, oh why, didn't I take the BLUE pill?"
(For the uninitiated, that's a reference to the Matrix, not Viagra).
Lars
I was probably thinking, "I joined the navy! How the hell did I end up with the marines?!"
I did the exact same thing you did Bob. I joined the Navy and ended up with the Marines for 9 years.
In the second police academy I went to we had a Marine Drill Sergeant as an instructor. He seemed pleasant enough to me, but he did toss us into a small building full of tear gas!
In honor of the first day of Spring - just for fun - let's upload a pic of us when we were teens or twenties or whatever. But, hey, no naked baby pics please LOL!!
To get the ball rolling, here's a pic of me from my mid 20s. A friend was studying photography and experimenting with those Sepia toned photos so I volunteered to be a guinea pig.
