Any opinions out there about this latest release?

I've only seen them on the USPS site.

They look interesting...

re: SODA FOUNTAIN FAVORITES New Issue

The Soda Fountain Favorites have a nice retro look to them, but sometimes I wonder if they couldn't have put a little more effort into some of the designs I've seen lately. Of course, I can say this, but when you consider the cuts in funding for the U. S. Postal Service lately due to the sequester and those who want to starve it to death so they can privatize it, I guess I shouldn't wonder at any perceived decrease in quality (and that decrease is pretty slight, anyway). Incidentally, the crossed-out 'Forever' is interesting . . .

re: SODA FOUNTAIN FAVORITES New Issue

The USPS has not suffered any budget cut backs as a result of the sequester and/or Congress. The USPS receives no federal funding. In an effort to cut its deficit, the USPS has been trying to cut expenses. However, Congress and the unions continue to do what they can to disrupt most austerity plans. Of course it does waste plenty of money on its own.

I stand corrected, however it is a little more complicated than that:

I have a friend who works at the P. O. here in Concord and has for many years. He and many of his cohorts have been lamenting the cuts in both staff and budget in the last few years, cuts whic have been accelerating lately and reduced services considerably.
