This is a forgery and a later genuine issue for better detail
It is unusual to cut the perfs as the perfed ones are fairly valuable & the few under $50 have watermarks
A lot of remainders of #1 were faked with cancels as well as a lot of unused #1 having fake cancels
The image is too small and faint to tell but it "looks" OK and the cancel is typical
This is the more common fake cancel from Spiro
I doubt it, but I am not an expert and I haven't a clue what this is. I did check for
a watermark and it has none that I can see.
Is this a total fake or just a regular perforated stamp made to look like a used #1?
