What a saga- apparently God isn't done with you yet, and you have more to do. Your journey is a tough one, as are all our journeys. There are others at SOR who likewise have gone through and continue to go through their own trials and tribulations, and who, like you, are inspirations to us all.
You are wished a speedy recovery and success in completing that which you have yet to do.
Hang in there, and hang tough.
Best,
Dan C.
Quite a journey there - we're all here for you.
Speedy recovery!
Bill, WOW that's totally messed up. You just never know when your life might turn upside down. I hope you have a speedy and full recovery. I've been bed bound for 2 1/2 months myself and am learning how to walk again. It's a slow process but you should get better everyday, just takes time and patience.
Welcome back.....
Well it's been a strange relocation, we moved to New Jersey on June 15th, our furniture arrived on the 18th. I was convinced I had some sort of allergy but it turned out to be
pneumonia. I went to urgent care on June 23rd and the Doctor disagreed but told me to
go the the hospital but I declined the offer (my mistake). My better half convinced me
I needed to see another physician so on July 5th we went to a different urgent care so
we drove to another, this time I was prescribed an antibiotic and sent to a lab for
X Rays, when we arrived I passed out while opening the door and fell backwards hitting
my head causing a concussion I was taken to a close by hospital by ambulance, when I
arrived there they were not capable of caring for me so I was sent to another hospital
by helicopter all the while I was in a coma which lasted till the 2nd of August, when
I regained consiousness I was transfered to critical care where 2 days later I had a
stroke, spending another month there. After learning how to walk and talk again. At the
end of August I was moved to a rehab facility to sharpen my skills at being human again.
I'm home now and still in recovery I've got therapists coming every few days to make
sure I'm still alive.
My computer should be up and running soon and I'll start listing again.
Please excuse any spelling errors and stay tuned
Glad to be back
Bill
