Australia’s first zoological stamps issued in 1888 & 1889, in mint unhinged condition. The 2d emu was issued on September 9, 1888 in Prussian blue, the one shilling kangaroo was issued on February 21, 1889 in Maroon and the 8d superb lyrebird was issued on January 1, 1889 in Lilac-Rose.
