These are five values of a set of six issued by the US military government in South Korea in 1946. They are surcharges on Japanese stamps.
The first stamp here is the top value of the set.
To build just a tiny bit on what Nigel wrote, these are listed in Scott, under Korea (South Korea). The full set is #55-60, and it looks like you the one you're missing is #55, so you have #56-60.
The Scott catalog value for the full set, #55-60, mint hinged, is $21.00, but the missing #55 has a SCV of $8.00, so that you makes your #56-60 come out to $13.00.
They only price the mnh as a set, which is $45.00.

I have never seen these before and do not remember having seen them listed or mentioned in the Sakura catalogue for Japan. Since these are overprinted Japanese stamps, I sort of expected that. On the other hand, these are stamps for Korea, not Japan...
