Not sure if this is the right place to list. When did the USPS stop using Aerogrammes? And what if any country still issues them? Thanks for any info.

re: Aerogrammes

USPS announced that stocks of aerogrammes were exhausted in 2006. Officially, USPS discontinued the aerogramme rate 14May2007.

Many of the major countries have been phasing out aerogrammes. For example, UK demonetized them 31Oct2012.

I don't know if there are any postal services that still actively produce them.

re: Aerogrammes

There is actually a website dedicated to aerogrammes, but it hasn't be updated in over 6 years. It archives some of the material from the former Aerogramme Society.

I have a Canada Post aerogramme, mint. I think the face-value is 86-cents. I should write a letter and post it to someone overseas, with the additional postage affixed, of course!

re: Aerogrammes

Australia Post still issues aerogrammes. Two aerogrammes showing Aboriginal art are currently available at the post office. The current price is $2.40 for each.

From Australia Post:

"Aerogrammes are now issued on an ad-hoc basis, the most recent being the 2016 Art Gallery Aerogrammes and IPPEs, which will be released on 5 April 2016 and feature striking Indigenous artworks from the impressive State Art Collection at the Art Gallery of Western Australia."
