We recently got on a town email chain. My wife remarks that she see's people looking to hire maids (hint, hint!) so I tell her to go for it! She could probably get enough work to be busy all weekend!

That's the way to do it.
Let someone else go out and work, "to keep you in the manner to which you have become accustomed"
It works for me!!

I received one yesterday and another one today. I was surprised that the Gmail spam filter didn't catch them.

The local newspaper has a column every day listing a newspaper articles from 150, 125 etc years ago what were in their paper. Last week the 150 years ago item was about two ladies who were arrested by the local police and brought before the Justice of the Peace charged with "sassy talking". It didn't say what the outcome was. I doubt there are any police today with the courage (foolhardiness) to do that today.
