FX's Fargo is using stamps to advertise its upcoming season premier. If you encounter this add online, mouse over each stamp and an animation plays out. One of my favorite shows. The stamps are quite mysterious.

re: Fargo Stamps

Hey Eric. Thanks for posting this.

Fargo, the movie, is on my personal "Top 10" list. And the two TV series I found different but both great. (Unlike some of my friends who didn't share this view, I didn't get overly pedantic about the movie and trying to over-analyze and compare them).

I think it's cool to use this as a promotional vehicle. Maybe this will spark Millennials into actually looking at stamps for their power to relay info on culture, politics, history, and the other mysteries of life!

Cheers, Dave.

I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. Not seen the show. Using stamps to promote the show though is neat.

re: Fargo Stamps

My fellow Canadians will probably relate to the number of times I have been vacationing down south and when I meet an American and tell them I'm from Canada they ask, "Oh hey, do you know "Bob Loblaw? He's from Canada too!"

So, a few years ago when we were at Disney World with the kids, I was in line with a bunch of folks I overheard saying they were from North Dakota. I turned around and said, "Hey, do y'all know Jerry Lundegaard or Margie Gunderson? I think they're from North Dakota too."

Much conversation ensued, and some people said they thought they might know their relatives, but no one could quite place Jerry or Margie...

Interesting side-line...the lineup was for the "Kali River Rapids" ride. My oldest daughter's name is "Kali". It was just one of those things that was way too good to be true! But it is!

Now, if I can just find an Inverted Jennie at a garage sale...

Cheers, Dave.
