Some fireworks for the holiday...

Happy Independence Day Everyone! I'm flying my flag all weekend (since Friday!)!
Nice postings with the flag stamp collection and fireworks.
I am planning on wearing red, white, and blue today in celebration, .
Just finished combining two International I based collections into the cleaner of the two albums' pages and checking for misidentified stamps. Took over two hours to decide on the stamps on the first two pages for Sweden comparing them with the descriptions in the Scott catalog. Switzerland was almost as bad. Wish Bud's stamps from http://bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com/ had the Sweden and Switzerland pages posted. The Antonius Ra pages were fascinating to try to compare the stamps with which I was working as well but a bit overwhelming to say the least. It was interesting how many times the dates listed in the album did not match those in the catalog for the periods in International I. I kept a log of my progress with the total stamps in the new combined album as follows:
20170520 2822
20170521 3213
20170522 3591
20170524 3840
20170524 4025
20170525 4059
20170526 4230
20170527 4340
20170528 5010
20170602 5310
20170603 5532
20170604 5774
20170605 5932
20170606 6031
20170609 6153
20170611 6288
20170616 6403
20170619 6633
20170620 6744
20170626 7012
20170627 7100
20170629 7225
20170630 7534
20170701 7741
20170702 8163
20170703 8467
20170704 8810 and done.
I have had the older album since 2005 which was originally copyright 1943. It was originally a bound volume that had been separated and put into a loose leaf International binder. The new one is a lot cleaner and is copyright 1955 and was purchased earlier this year through eBay. It has been an intense several weeks trying to get the combination completed!
And two from July 4, 1976
