Hi Chris,
Very interesting labels, I think they are.
This similar item sold for 110 pounds.

The similar item is a cachet on a cover. It sold for £110 because it had a US C13 on it, and is no use in determining the value of these stamps.
These are not US postage stamps, nor are they postage stamps from any other country. My guess is that they are cinderellas.

The US zeppelin stamps are not in my area of expertise, which is why I didn't mention that aspect.

That cachet item is, I believe, identical in design to your 4 items, so definitely of interest in establishing their origin.
Sorry I could not be of more help on this, but will monitor this thread to see what pops up.

mbo1142, you have correctly identified this cinderella. Linns, May 6, 1991 replied to an inquiry about its identity and pointed out it is a parody of a rare De La Rue essay of 1923 which Newfoundland never adopted for an airmail stamp. Roessler's "promotional" parody was produced in 1931 and sold at that time for 50 cents. It is not considered by the author of the Linns article to be a forgery since it differs in obvious ways from the 1923 essay, and has the unique for the era die cut perforation pattern. The item occasionally shows up on eBay and seems to garner some interest, maybe selling in the $7-$10 range (don't hold me to the exact figures on this!).
There are several other cinderellas that purport to be Newfoundland airmails, one of which is a footnote in the airmail stamp section for Newfoundland in the Unitrade catalogue (Wayzata $1.00 dark blue airmail). They are, IMHO, interesting adjuncts to a Newfoundland stamp collection.
