Hi James,
As a reasonably frequent buyer from the Approval Books, I'm always only looking for specific countries. A general grouping of countries would not get my attention.

I agree with Tim.
I won't bother to look thru a generalized book that includes multiple countries, either.
Single countries only is much more likely to attract my attention.

Be as specific as possible.
I would much rather go through 24 pages of "Denmark used 1990-2017" than "used Scandinavia" even if the latter contained great stamps at reasonable prices.

The title should be SPECIFIC per our rule. I am starting to clamp down (by asking modifications) on titles that are not descriptive PRECISELY of the content of the books.
Note that West Europe is NOT allowed. Other West European countries lumps the countries not specifically named. Thus you may NOT put West Germany, France Britain etc, in a book called West Europe. These all have specific designations (and ample stamps issued to allay any fears of not meeting the 100 stamp minimum). Also Title should bracket the YEARS of coverage!
A precise title is a courtesy to the buyers. They should know what is in the book from the title, without having to check every page!
Jim, the only reason I have not called you on your titles is because you offer new material, that is in short supply. But adding the YEAR Range would please me greatly 
!
Help the moderator improve Approvals by reporting PRIVATELY to me via message or email any book that falls short of our rules or standards.

I'm thinking that the title should contain the Country & Year of issue - At the very least..

I always put some type of year range or limit in the titles of the books I publish. However, there are always exceptions to the rules (for example Mozambique Company) - that by itself is a limited year range.. Steve

Approvals
Being new to Stamporama and just trying to find my way around,I have listed several books in broad general categories i.e. Western Europe,Africa ect and I have had moderate success with this approach.I am wondering if buyers would be more interested in viewing material from specific countries say within Western Europe rather than roaming through 24 pages of general Western Europe.I would appreciate your comments and opinions.
