Just out of curiosity, I went to the "details" of his shipping and discovered an interesting item. If you select Germany in the ship to location, the cost is 0.85 Euro. A random selection of other Ship To locations came up with 150,000 Euros! Tried all continents. Same 150,000. Apparently this is a way to get around worldwide shipping. The seller will only ship to Germany, but has not figured out how to do it quite right!

I've read that there is a glitch in the eBay shipping calculator that gives astronomical numbers for international, but not by this much!

Strange stuff is happening on Ebay lately. Last night I was on the early 20th century US mint category and entered 'coil'. I got back a screen full of listings for radiator coils, springs and so on. The category was still showing 'US mint 1901-1940'.
