I would guess the actual stamps come from IGPC in NYC or Stamperija in Lithuania - both companies produce lots of superfluous stamps for many small countries.

Insofar as these Wallpaper issues may bring new blood
into the hobby they have a benefit.
However the sad disappointment that greets newbies
when they try to unload their treasures to inflate
the down payment for their first castle,
that benefit is shrunken considerably.
I wonder where the balance lies ?

From Royal Mail website the following are issues coming this year.
A look forward into 2018
We're excited to reveal some highlights for the stamp issues for 2018. Just some of the special editions we'll be producing are below, the full programme of 2018 issues will be announced soon.
March – The RAF Centenary
April – Reintroduced Species
June – Dad’s Army
July – Hampton Court Palace
August – Captain Cook and the Endeavour Voyage
September – First World War: 1918
November – Christmas
So far no mention of Harry but they have not yet released their full calendar of issues. There seem to be a few months not accounted for so I'm certain there will be more new issues.

No doubt there will be the usual:-
A set of ten stamps,
A First Day Cover, with 2 to 4 Special Handstamps.
A Miniature Sheet with different designs or different perfs,
A Prestige Booklet with at least 3 stamps with differing Codes, perfs, printer etc.
At least 36 different Post & Go Labels,
Or am I just an old, tight-fisted CYNIC!!!

Saw the pictures of the GOT set on the Guardian. Is this the way I get my 22 year old son to stop calling his poor old Dad a 'stamp geek'? 
He's getting a set for his birthday ...

Doomboy, he will probably need advice on which "port" they plug into on his Iphone or laptop, and whether they are Windows compatible.
I'm sure he will appreciate the gift especially as a souvenir and maybe framed with an FDC.

Fortunately, he has a fascination with some 'low tech' options. He still prefers a book in his hands and plays card games with his friends, so I don't think I need to explain too much.
On the other hand, I have had to give him step-by-step instructions on how to mail something ...

Hello. With Prince Harry getting married in May 2018, can stamps be far behind? Actually I will look forward to collecting them, and I imagine Mystic Stamp Co. will soon announce special deals available with an album to follow. This raises a question though. Does anyone know how the relationship works between Mystic and the little island countries that print so many such issues?
