A seller on eBay has been offering an assortment of Nazi postcards, many featuring Hitler. The many I have looked at have been unaddressed but have one or two Hitler head stamps from the 1941-45 series on the address side.
The cards have been canceled with various postmarks, some pictorial, some plain cds and others from the military. One of the pictorial cancels is smaller than the original cancel and is placed on a card from 1940, long after that cancel was discontinued.

I emailed the seller, asking him if the postcards and postmarks were post WWII fakes?
His reply was technically honest:
"Hello,
Thank you! I'm not a postcard card specialist.
if you look carefully for a second, all my listings are in the category stamps. I sell stamps. and these stamps are 100% authentic"
Caveat emptor: I will let readers decide.

Many sellers like to play with descriptor wording. That's why we don't allow it on the Stamporama sales platform.
Another example, I saw a listing for a couple of Scott International Stamp Albums. At the end of the title the seller added the word "Rare". I asked him how he could say the albums were "rare" when one can buy them directly from Scott or any other dealer today. His response was that when he listed the albums, there were only a couple others listed, making them "rare" on ebay.

The postcard itself looks like a poorly printed reproduction, and the cancel looks like it was produced by a rubber stamp from a stamp pad.

It´s a Private production. on the back "Selbstverlag" means in English "Self-Publishing".

I totally agree that these are all fakes.
Typically, the Nazi 'ceremonial' cancels are very clear and carefully applied. On this seller's items, they're universally faint, or blurry.

I'm not sure if I need to see my bank manager for this lot, seems to be really rare Hong Kong stamps!
On that basis mine are worth a fortune, probably enough to retire.
