Could someone tell me the Scott catalog number and the year of issue of this stamp please. I can't find it in mine. I think it was part of a two miniature sheet set as I have a similar sheet with lower value stamps in it. I just bought this on eBay.

During the Liberian civil war period (1999-2004), many stamps that were not issued in Liberia appeared on the philatelic market. While some are probably legitimate stamps, many are not. At this time, Scott does not list stamps from Liberia that appeared during the war years. See the note about this in Scott following Liberia #1488. I would suspect that your item is from that time period.
