So, today I am creating more custom album pages for my Mystic album. I copy the stamp details from the left side and often use Abbyy Fineprint OCR software to capture it if I only want to reuse a subset.

Well, today I could not Scan to Word. The option was no longer available. I realized that I had installed 2016 Office and no longer had the prior version. The program could not find it and looks like you cannot "find" it later so after some time searching knowledge base articles I figured out I had to upgrade to work with 2016 Word anyway. This set me back 30 minutes researching and fixing that. Now, the new version has a much different GUI (likely to be more mobile friendly). After updating the supposedly latest version, it tells me there is another updated version to install.

The new version still cannot recognize the ¢ cent (resolves as c) so have to convert manually.

It definitely not like prior days when you spent time sitting on the porch with the parents and grandparents, watching traffic go by, and shelling peas or shucking corn. The problems were simpler.
