I have several cigarette revenue postage stamps that are not listed in my United States Specialized Catalog. I was reading an article about Sherwood Springer and have been looking for information about the books he wrote. I was wondering is there a way of getting the information without having to find a library that may have any of Springer's books. Or having to purchase one of his books; I have heard that they can be quite expensive. I have a two cigarette stamps that has 8 and 10 in the upper corners; the Act of Aug. 5, 1909 at bottom, and the Series of 1910 between the numbers in the upper corners. The vignette is of Dewitt Clinton. I have several others that I am looking for a catalog number for, I know that Scott hasn't listed several yet. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps posting the items will lead to an answer from those who have the catalogs. Just saying!

I'd be more than happy to look it up for you in the Springer books but I would definitely need a clear scan to do so.

I want to thank all those with the suggestions and hints. I was fortunate enough to obtain a Sherwood Springer catalog 3rd edition. Thanks to all again.
