Hi to all

How do you distinguish the medal flaw, they all look the same to me.
this one was in a collection I purchased.
It has written on the back in pencil
185 (SG I am assuming) 1937-49 14 x 15

Unfortunately, your stamp does not have a medal flaw, the image below shows what a medal flaw looks like. In the ACSC it is 189e and is valued at $30 used.

Hi Rob,

Still confused, these scans all are slightly different, so are any of these the medal flaw?

Showing is a normal 1941 3d mauve, it shows the metallic shine to the medal in question. The stamps you have, though they show variations of the medal, none have the "medallion flaw".
