Hey Ian...who would have thought that the Saints would put up 45...and lose! The Jags host the Patriots this weekend. Revenge time!
Let's not forget St. Aaron of Lambeau Field. What a comeback!
Go Pack!
A second win might be a trend. Good that he came back from his first pass in the NFL, which was a pick six.
Go Gang Green!
And The Giants had the Jets quarterback. They traded him to the Jets in favor of keeping the derelict Eli Manning who lost another game for The Giants. Eli oh so well over and under throws his own receivers, and throws to the other team. He has been very consistent with this for the past few years. Then there's Erik Flowers, who just has to lead the league in penalties. The Giants got rid of some good offensive line players and kept Flowers who in the first two offensive plays by The Giants committed two penalties and cost the team 20 yards. Sure The Giants have some good players on offense, but what good are they if Eli can't throw the ball to them, and Flowers commits penalties that negate good runs and catches (when Eli does manage to throw the ball to his players).
I predicted a 6-10 season for The Giants a couple of months ago. They'll most likely be 0-2 after this Sunday when they play Dallas.
We shall see how it all pans out as the season unfolds. Looks to be another long season....
I do like the Jets quarterback, but is he enough to carry the team? Some of the Jets players will have to step it up a bit to help him out.
Ernie:-
Revenge IS Sweet!!
Go Jags! What a game! Everyone was ready to run Bortles out of town on a rail two years ago but he was flawless today. Ian, do we play a game in London again this year? I dont even know.
CLARIFIED: October 28th at Wembley stadium against the Philadelphia Eagles. Would love to go!
