I have always loved that Queensland design on the fourth row down. Especially the blue two pence value.
Hi Ernieinjax
The early state stamps of Australia have always been a favourite of mine.
Just the variation in colours.
I remember seeing some-one where on the net, a collection of stamps from Victoria, put together by a Canadian, I think.
His colour variations and and varieties was impressive.
I must try and find it again.
Just in Victorian stamps, there are several envelopes of colour variation and watermarks and postmarks.
Some postmarks on early Australian stamps are very rare and very expensive.
It will take me months just to examine all the stamps and determine the watermarks, then I will concentrate on colour variations.
Exciting time ahead.
It was just one of those once in a lifetime buys.

Just a page of odds and ends from the collection.
