Hi, I was wondering if anyone could provide the following information:

1. What year did FDC cachet designer Ralph Dyer pass away?
2. What was his first hand drawn / hand painted cachet?

I know he started out in 1926 in designing cachets that were printed and the first Dyer printed cachet was 1928.

Reported "96 years this month" in Vol 39 Number 7 Page 545 ... we're on Vol 63 right now.
