Hello

I'm new to collecting stamps as I was recently given two large collections. Just wanted to say hi. I've got a lot to learn. Stamp collecting is a lot harder than coins!

re: Hello

hey Nelson,

great Christmas (or equivalent) if you wound up with two collections. What a great way to start.

There's tons to read here, on Discussion board, articles, exhibits, and more. Pick and explore. If you have unanswered questions after looking and reading, ask.

Welcome aboard

David

Hey nr,

In your defense, with your coin collecting background, you have a well-developed appreciation for condition, which, as in coin-collecting, is tremendously important to stamp valuation.

Welcome!
