Canada Postal Strike label (1981 and 1987)
cc5160 two different sets of stamps were produced probably by B Schulze stamps Ltd. For delivery of mail into the U.S. Postal System during the Canadian postal strikes of 1981 and 1987. The stamps featuring airplane ($0.50) or boats ($1 or $1.85) used copies or seen occasionally but are not dated.
Types 1-3 (1981): No black frame, 50¢ orange; $1 blue; $1.85 magenta. Printed in sheets of 18 (3x6). Rouletted, dull gummed. 40 x 64 mm.
Types 4-6 (1987): With black frame, 50¢ orange; $1 blue; $1.85 pink. Perforated, shiny gum. 32 x 49 mm. Rarely seen.

Yours are the 1981 set

re: Canada Courier labels/Cinderellas

There is a catalogue of these Cinderellas:

"Strike, Courier and Local Post of the Elizabethan Era" by Earle L. Covert (Second Edition 1992).

The second example you show is one of a set of three. All it says about who issued it is "Private courier service between Victoria, B.C. and Port Angeles, Washington." It was printed in sheets 5x5. Of 7000 copies over half were used. They date from 1981.
