Thankyou I have another question How does it get on to the stamp?? I can't be sure but I think it is covering some of a full stop Are they common and have you seen them on these stamps?? Sorry but I asked more then 1 question

In philately there is no such thing as too many questions.
When the dies are set on a stamp printing press. During the printing process, the engraved cavities are filled with ink by passing an ink bath and a flexible doctor blade is used to remove the excess ink.
In the early process of stamp printing, many flaws occurred, the most common were the ink blots seen on stamps. This may have been caused by some ink being attached to the doctor blade and falling off onto the stamp.

Thankyou will put this stamp with the koala up the tree stamp. I bought a lot of these stamps for very little money, so far I have found in them Koala up the tree, Plantaloon, ink spots
In years to come I suppose the used Koala up the tree stamp might go up in price???

Some of the better finds are in stamps bought for very little money. If plating the stamps (position on the sheet), the "Pantaloon" and "Koala in tree" varieties are paired.
"Pantaloon" left stamp; "Koala in tree" stamp on the right. And major varieties do increase in time, the "Pantaloon" is a major variety.
