The microprinting is not at the same location on these two stamps.
5262 - microprinted "USPS" at left of flag fold on fourth red stripe
5263 - microprinted "USPS" at right of flag fold on fifth white stripe
I got confused. Clear now. Thanks.
That's OK. It was only a micro-state of confusion.
(I can't believe I beat David to flagging that one!)
I have few used singles which could be 5262 or 5263.
Because I do not have the most recent Scott US specialized I am using Bardostamps.com and Stampsmarter.com/etc. None of these two places seems to help.
Both stamps have the same perforations and the micro print USPS in the same places. For me they look the same!
Does somebody have a better way to determine what is what? Thanks, Virgil
