I need a bit of advice
I have a collection of different kinds of postcards . (Cork, birch bark , embroidered, holiday , patriotic hand painted using cut up stamps, embossed ,chrome panoramic etc) and I am wanting to organize them for my personal use and even later for an exhibit. My question is two fold.
1`...What kind of information do you include?
2 Is there a publication on line that indicates the many kinds of postcards used through the years?
Any help would be appreciated .
Cheryl

Cheryl, you could maybe get this from your library. ISBN 1-85170-422-1 published in 1992 by Studio Editions, England.

re: Collecting Postcards

My wife collected "Black Cat good luck postcards". It's amazing how many there are - I have a fairly large album of them. It's fun to collect all the symbols of good luck on postcards, it's amazing some of the items that used to be considered good luck. Just ask Mr. Google!!
