re: China Pop. republic: diagonal bar on low right corner WHY??
Many souvenir sheets from POR China were printed as giveaways or for sale souvenirs for various stamp exhibitions, etc. The stamps on the sheets had no franking authority. The obliterator lines are there to show that they are not valid for postage. Others, like the sheet at the top simply were printed without any denomination.
