Could someone please give me some information about these stamps, like are they common with no watermark? Why some stamps have watermark and some don't?? Any other information would be most helpful Thankyou

Hi Pooh

The 4d Koala without a watermark was printed in 1956. The watermark began to faze out since the introduction of QEII stamps, by the end of 1966 no stamps were issued with a watermark as there were more modern ways to protect the stamps from being counterfeited.
